As an increasing number of candidates announce for the 2026 elections as Independent candidates, the need for this site becomes obvious.
Our philosophy has always been to provide for the individual candidate the policy backing which would normally be expected from a political party. In fact, we aim to go one better. By taking expertise from a wide range of people, separate from the squabbling and positioning which are inevitably involved in policy formation within a party, we hope to develop policies which are backed up by evidence, logic and real-world experience.
Our assumption is that Scotland is better off as an independent country, reliant on her own people and resources. We have an abundance of talent, expertise, and sustainable resources which are at present shared with the other countries in the UK.
Shared is a polite way of saying taken from us.
Our aim will be to drill through to the facts about Scotland’s economy, resources, and place in the world.
